Requirements
Applicants must hold both a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate major from an accredited institution with an active teaching certificate. Applicants must be employed full-time at an educational institution.
Submit the following when applying:
- Online application
- $35 application fee
Within 30 days of beginning your first course, you must submit the following to be formally accepted to Wilkes University:
- Official undergraduate transcripts
- Copy of teaching certificate
- Two letters of recommendation along with Wilkes University recommendation forms
Learners do not have to be formally accepted to begin coursework.
The semester you are completing the last course for your degree, you must register for "Graduation-GRD OOOB" regardless whether you will be attending commencement. For more information on the Graduation process please visit Wilkes Graduation Policy
